Sharing time again

That’s right … I’ve amassed quite the collection of links, so it’s time to pass them along.

— From Christie at Honoring Health comes a reminder that eating right, exercising — just living a healthy lifestyle every day — is a struggle. Her words touched me. May you take something from them, too.

MizFit and The Anti-Jared both had some great thoughts on bloggers as role models. As I wrote in the comments for MizFit’s post, I think bloggers can be role models … whether they want to be or not. I certainly hope to emulate the likes of Roni and Tina at Carrots N Cake. (Not that I even come close, but it’s fun to try.)

Of course I hope, from time to time, something I write will inspire someone else — to look at something in a different light, to make a better choice or just to laugh. But I don’t blog specifically with that thought in mind. I blog to get my thoughts out of my head, stay accountable and work through those bad days I seem to have too many of.

— Roni’s latest weekend quote provides plenty of food for thought, too.

“To create more positive results in your life, replace “if only” with “next time.”

Wise words I’d do well to remember. It seems as if I’m always repeating past mistakes and expecting new results. Wait a minute … isn’t that the definition of insanity? 😉

I hope not!

— Speaking of Roni, I can’t wait to try the Cheesesteak Wraps recipe she posted over at Green Lite Bites. If only I had some leftover steak …

— Trying to save some cash? I know I should be. 😉 This Food Network swap for the famous Starbucks Frappuccino could help. Still, I can’t help wondering: Why not just use Hershey’s Light Chocolate Syrup? Guess that’s me, trying to take the easy way out — again.

— As long as I’m sharing recipes, here’s one from Tish over at Incremental Improvements: Broccolini with smoked paprika and garlic. There are some almonds in there, too. Looks delish.

— I know I mentioned this last time, but don’t forget about the 30 Days of Self Love Challenge over at Faith, Fitness, Fun. It starts Sept. 1, and I, for one, can’t wait to see what Tina has in store.

At risk of delivering link overload, I’ll wrap this post up now. Hope you found something to enjoy.

  1. I get such inspiration from checking out your links. Thanks for finding them and sharing. BTW, how DO you find them?? Must be all that late night surfing when everyone else is sleeping! lol!

    1. That must be it! 😉 I have a lot of blogs I check out semi-regularly. Others I find through links someone else has posted on Twitter or Facebook.

Wait a minute … that’s just more proof that I spend way too much time online. 😛
