2013 in review

NewYearDespite the fact that I loudly proclaim my hatred of math to anyone and everyone who will listen, I love looking at blog stats. Welcome to the contradiction that comes with being female, eh?

It’s that time of year again, the one I look forward to: The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 16,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Some other highlights:

I wrote 222 posts in 2013, bringing my archive to 1,163 posts in all.

WIAW posts got the most traffic. (Thanks, Jenn!)

Thanks for indulging this trip down memory lane. It’s fun to see exactly how much my blog has grown over the years (from 10,000 page views in 2012 to 16,000 in 2013)!

Here’s to another year of blogging growth and success!
