Day 14: My Dream Day. Describe your ideal day. How would you spend your time? Who would you spend it with? Have you had this day? If not, how could you make it happen?
My dream day? I can tell you what it wouldn’t involve: taxes. That’s how I spent this morning.
At least I just got confirmation my return was accepted. That refund will be mine in a few short days.
Usually I have my taxes done and the refund spent long before the deadline. This year, I’ve been too busy to bother with such mundane details.
My ideal day would start off with a hot, sweaty workout — the kind that when you’re done, you feel like you’ve accomplished something.
Then I’d have a filling low-carb breakfast and head off to Starbucks to write — and I wouldn’t have to leave until I was good and ready. None of this going to work crap that normally interrupts my flow.
Lunch and dinner would be prepared for me, by my personal chef (or the fine folks at Outback. Nothing beats a steak and salad from Outback.)
Of course, I’d have to be independently wealthy for day like that to become my reality. I’ll have to settle for getting as close as possible. I can do the workouts/writing to some extent.
