Hard to believe it’s already September. Where the heck did summer go?
Guess I’ve been too busy with day-to-day life to notice it passing me by.
Like many of you, fall is my favorite time of year. I love autumn leaves and pumpkin — and on Atkins I can have pumpkin. What I’ll have with it is another story.
Another trip to Cost Plus is in order, for sure. I need to buy sugar-free pumpkin syrup for homemade pumpkin spice frappes.
With it being September, I’m now a little more than a month from the big 4-0. I’m obviously not going to be at my goal weight by then — I’d have to lose nearly 80 pounds.
I would like to be in the 230s … maybe even the 220s. Okay, that’s probably pushing it. Losing 10 pounds would put me at 237.
The weight is coming off a lot more slowly this time. I miss the days of losing 3 pounds a week, which is what happened pretty consistently my first time on Atkins.
Oh well. It is coming off. That’s the important thing.
