Breakfast today was just 3 Points — HG’s egg mug classic and some cantaloupe. But I decided to try a new restaurant for lunch. (I get to write about new restaurants for my job at the newspaper.)
Now, I could have ordered the “Do the Right Thing” platter — a grilled chicken sandwich with side salad and a drink. But the girl at the counter did not list that as one of the specialities, so I opted for the chicken tenders with a side of mac & cheese instead.
Delicious? Yes. But I haven’t yet begun to total the Points. But I will. I promised.
So now I have a new plan. After indulging in a very tasty but not-so-healthy lunch at Louie’s Chicken Shack (story to appear next week in the Arizona Daily Sun), chased with a Friday afternoon treat from Katie Cupcake (last Sunday’s feature), I’m going to have a light dinner.
Salad, anyone? 😉
