Belated Friday Five

I haven’t done a Friday Five in a while. This is as good a time as any to resurrect the practice, so here goes.

Last 5 books I read

  1. New Atkins for a New You Cookbook
  2. Must Love Mistletoe by Christie Ridgway
  3. Material Girl by Julia London
  4. The Klingon Dictionary (for the story I was writing for NaNoWriMo)
  5. Kiss an Angel by  Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Last 5 things I ate

  1. 1 oz. cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
  2. 1/4 cup curried walnuts (a George Stella recipe)
  3. Atkins Mocha Latte shake
  4. Chicken Caesar Salad wrap (from the New Atkins for a New You cookbook)
  5. 1/4 cup curried walnuts (my mid-afternoon snack at the office)

5 things I’m loving right now

  1. Feeling in control of my diet
  2. Making progress on the editing
  3. Trying new recipes
  4. The brand-new interface on the Atkins website
  5. It’s payday!
